LAND ROVER

The 5.7-liter Toyota 3UR-FE engine was first introduced in 2007 as a powertrain for the company’s largest SUVs and pickups. In a number of markets, there is an ethanol version of this engine with the 3UR-FBE index.

The 2.0-liter Toyota 3Y carburetor engine was produced by the concern from 1982 to 1991 and was installed on Town Ace and Hiace minibuses, Hilux pickups, and Crown S120 sedans. There were modifications of the unit with a catalyst 3Y-C, 3Y-U and gas versions 3Y-P, 3Y-PU.

The 2.4-liter Toyota 2L diesel engine was assembled at the company’s factories from 1982 to 2004 and put on many popular models of its time, such as Hiace, Hilux, Crown and Mark II. During the modernization of the motor in 1988, the rocker arms were replaced with conventional pushers.

The 3.0-liter Toyota 5L diesel engine was assembled at the company’s plant from 1994 to 2005 and put on HiAce minibuses, Hilux pickups or various modifications of the Dyna truck. Numerous clones of this power unit are still produced in a number of Asian countries.

The 2.5-liter Toyota 5AR-FE engine has been produced since 2013 at the company’s Chinese plant and is installed on the concern’s front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models, but only for the local car market. All versions of this unit are equipped with the Dual VVT-i variable valve timing system.

The 2.2-liter Toyota 4Y carbureted engine was produced by the company from 1985 to 1997 and was installed on the popular Town Ace and HiAce minibuses, Hilux pickups and Crown S130 sedans. Especially for commercial vehicles, a modification derated up to 70 hp was produced.

The 2.0-liter Toyota 3Y carburetor engine was produced by the concern from 1982 to 1991 and was installed on Town Ace and Hiace minibuses, Hilux pickups, and Crown S120 sedans. There were modifications of the unit with a catalyst 3Y-C, 3Y-U and gas versions 3Y-P, 3Y-PU.

The 1.5-liter Toyota 3SZ-VE engine has been produced since 2005 at factories in China and Indonesia for compact models of the concern. The motor is equipped with a VVT-i phase regulator only at the intake. The timing drive in the power unit is carried out by a Morse chain.

The 2.7-liter Toyota 3RZ-FE engine was produced from 1994 to 2004 in Japan for pickups and SUVs. This is one of the most voluminous 4-cylinder power units in the line, and the engineers had to complicate its design with the presence of 2 balancer shafts in the crankcase.

The 5.0-liter Land Rover 508PS or 5.0 Supercharged engine has been produced since 2009 and is installed in popular SUVs such as Range Rover, Range Rover Sport or Velar. Also, this motor with an Eaton compressor is put on Jaguar cars under the AJ133S index.

The company assembled the 5.0-liter Land Rover 508PN gasoline engine from 2009 to 2014 and put it on such popular SUVs as the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4. This power unit was installed on Jaguar cars under its own AJ133 index.

The 3.0-liter Land Rover 306PS or 30HD0D 3.0 Supercharged engine has been assembled since 2012 and is installed on such popular models of the company as the Range Rover Sport, Discovery and Velar. This V6 is basically a cut down AJ-V8 and is also known as the Jaguar AJ126.

The 3.0-liter diesel engine Land Rover 306DT and 30DDTX or Discovery 3.0 TDV6 and SDV6 has been produced since 2009 and is installed on Land Rover models, as well as Jaguar under the AJV6D index. On Peugeot-Citroen cars, this diesel power unit is known as the 3.0 HDi.

The 2.0-liter Land Rover 204PT or 2.0 GTDi turbo engine was produced from 2011 to 2019 and was installed on many models of the concern, including Jaguar cars under its AJ200 index. A similar power unit was installed on Ford with the TPWA index and on Volvo as B4204T6. This turbo engine belongs to the EcoBoost line.
