The 1.5-liter GM LFV turbo engine has been produced at factories in America and China since 2014 and is installed on the popular Chevrolet Malibu, Buick LaCrosse sedans or the Envision crossover. This power unit is also installed on a number of models of the Chinese company MG under the index 1.5 TGI.

Disadvantages of the GM LFV engine
This turbo engine is very demanding on the quality of the fuel and oil used;
Savings often end with detonation and a bursting partition at the piston;
There were also many cases of disconnection of the pipe from the throttle assembly;
There are many complaints on the specialized forums about the inadequate operation of the start-stop system;
Like all direct injection units, the intake valves are overgrown with soot.
