COMPLETE ENGINE : Engine Volkswagen CFNB

    The engine was installed on:
     Volkswagen Jetta 6 (1B) in 2010 – 2016;
     Volkswagen Polo Sedan 1 (6C) in 2010 – 2015.


    Disadvantages of the VW CFNB engine


    The most famous problem of the unit is knocking in the cylinder-piston group.
    The manufacturer changed the pistons under warranty, but over time the problem returned.
    The timing chain can already stretch to 100 – 150 thousand km, but it depends on the driving style.
    The exhaust manifold cracks quite often, and welding does not help for a long time.
    The left engine mount and throttle block also have a low resource.
