    Disadvantages of the Land Rover 508PN engine

     The atmospheric version is more reliable than a motor with a compressor and worries a little less often;
     The most famous problem is timing chain stretching closer to 100,000 km;
     Rarely, but sometimes there is a loss of intake or exhaust valve seats;
     The reason for floating engine speeds is most often the contamination of the throttle or injectors;
     Another weak point of the engine is the water pump and the ever-leaking heat exchanger.
