    Disadvantages of the Land Rover 306DT engine

     The Bosch fuel system with piezo injectors is reliable, but there are cases of replacing high-pressure fuel pumps;
     Often there is cracking of valve covers and wedge geometry of the turbine;
     And the most serious problem is a sudden wedge of the engine with a broken crankshaft;
     There are three belts in the motor and you need to strictly follow the replacement schedule every 130,000 km;
     Weak points include heat exchanger, crankshaft front oil seal, EGR valve.
